Is Boundary the Killer of Freedom?

Boundaries may appear as a limitation in the eyes of children, but I view them differently.

When my son turned five, I was so excited to celebrate his birthday. I invited 20 of his friends to his birthday party.  We of course had finger foods, a big cake, and lots of toys, but to make it more fun, I bought a chocolate fountain. Kids dipped strawberries and bananas in the silky running chocolate. 

When parents dropped off their 5 years old children, their eyes immediately were drawn to my brand new white carpet and the chocolate fountain.
